Minister of Mines and Steel Development

Kayode Fayemi was appointed as the Minister of Mines and Steel Development in Nigeria in November 2015 by President Muhammadu Buhari. As the Minister, he led efforts to reform the mining sector in Nigeria and attract foreign investments into the country. He oversaw the development and implementation of policies and programs aimed at promoting sustainable mining practices, improving revenue generation, and creating job opportunities in the sector.
