As the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum

 

Fayemi continued to engage with stakeholders and the public on issues affecting the country and its people. He was actively involved in discussions around national security, economic development, and governance, and worked with his fellow governors to find solutions to these issues. Overall, Fayemi's public engagements as governor demonstrated his commitment to transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance. In addition, as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, he regularly had meetings with other governors and federal officials on issues such as security, economic development, and political reforms. He also met with traditional leaders in Ekiti State and other parts of the country to discuss issues affecting their communities and to seek their support for his government's programs and policies.
